Applying for the Ph.D. in Public Administration degree consists of 5 simple steps:

You can submit your application online.Note: All materials in the next few steps must be submitted together with your application.

Send Your Transcripts
Request that an official transcript from the registrar of each U.S. college or university (except FAU) you have attended be sent to you or directly to Florida Atlantic University, Graduate College, SU 80, Room 101, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431-0991 (Please allow 1-2 weeks after request for the Graduate College to receive). If you receive transcripts, do not open the envelopes, but include them unopened in your materials packet. If FAU was your last school attended and you were a degree-seeking student, it is likely that your transcripts are on record. You will be notified if they are not. Submit Test Results
Applicants should have a minimum graduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher, and provide both percentile and numeric scores for the verbal, quantitative, and the analytical writing sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Official GRE scores (from within the last five years) must be submitted, and an online application must be completed. Official transcripts and GRE scores should be sent directly to the FAU Graduate College. All applicants must submit their scores on the GRE, regardless of GPA. International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 580 (CBT-213) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).In addition, applicants must submit a current resume, a professional letter of intent, two samples of academic or professional writing, and three academic or professional letters of reference.

Enclose Application Fee
The application fee of $30 must be in U.S. currency. Fee can be paid by credit card, check, or money order. Check or money order should be made payable to Florida Atlantic University and must be drawn on a U.S. bank; U.S. postal money orders, international money orders or U.S. traveler’s checks are acceptable.
