Michelle Barton
Michelle Barton attended Florida Atlantic University from 2004-2008, majoring in Political Science. In 2006, Michelle was selected by the Diplomacy Program to represent the university at the National Model United Nations simulation in New York City.
Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Fluent in French, Spanish and Italian, she worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France after completing an internship there in 2007. In 2010, Michelle was appointed as the Protocol Assistant to Ambassador Ivo Daalder at the United Stated Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels, Belgium
Michelle left NATO in 2015 to serve as Associate Director of Communications at the Council of Foreign Relations. Currently, she is assigned to the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy in the Global Coalition to Counter the Islamic State at the US Department of State.
