Application for PJHR Affiliate Faculty and Staff

The Peace, Justice and Human Rights (PJHR) Initiative is now accepting applications from individuals as affiliate faculty and staff. PJHR is a platform in the University’s Strategic Plan that continues the University’s commitment to issues of peace, social justice and human rights and seeks to promote research, teaching and community engagement on these themes. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming involved as an affiliate, please go to our web page at: http://www.fau.edu/pjhr/about/affiliated-faculty/index.php and complete the appropriate application form. The form is an editable PDF and depending on the nature of your browser can be submitted online or may have to be downloaded and submitted via email.

Status as an affiliate allows you to participate in the governance of PJHR as well as have voice in the direction of the Initiative. Affiliate status also allows you to participate in all internal PJHR grant-making.

The deadline for the first round of applications is 21 October. The PJHR Executive Committee will meet shortly thereafter, and it is anticipated that individuals will be notified no later than the end of October. After that, we will be seeking individuals for various PJHR committees. We hope to have all grant calls out by the end of the semester.

Your participation in PJHR is vital for the success of the Initiative. We are in a building phase so your suggestions, feedback and enthusiasm are welcomed as we look to sustained research programs as well as enhancing our curricular offerings and continuing to outreach to local and global communities.
