Call for 2017 Affiliate Faculty and Staff Applications

The Peace, Justice and Human Rights (PJHR) Initiative is now accepting applications from individuals for our affiliate faculty and staff program. PJHR is a platform in the University’s Strategic Plan that continues the University’s commitment to issues of peace, social justice and human rights and seeks to promote research, teaching and community engagement on these themes. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming involved as an affiliate, please go to this link and complete the application form.

Status as an affiliate allows you to participate in the governance of PJHR as well as have voice in the direction of the Initiative. Affiliate status also allows you to participate in all internal PJHR grant-making.

The deadline for applications is Monday, 11 September 2017. The PJHR Executive Committee will meet shortly thereafter, and it is anticipated that individuals will be notified no later than the end of September.

Your participation in PJHR is vital for the success of the Initiative. We are in a building phase so your suggestions, feedback and enthusiasm are welcomed as we look to sustain research as well as enhance our curricular offerings and continue outreach to local and global communities.
