Dr. Jean M. Pierre was born and raised in Haiti where he graduated from Institution Saint Louis de Gonzague High school. After graduation, he attended Universite Saint Anne in Nova Scotia, Canada (1982-1984) where he earned his associate degree. In December 1985, he graduated from The State University of New York College at Old Westbury with a Bachelor degree in Management and Finance. He then earned his master degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1989. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2016 with a Ph.D. in Public Administration. Dr. Pierre’s work experience includes Finance, Sales, Marketing and Management assignments across several industries - Airline, Food and Beverage, Remittances, Cellular Telecom, and Petroleum. Dr. Pierre teaches public administration courses at Florida Atlantic University. He is the Principal at Haitian American Research Company, an advisory consulting firm that focuses on minority business development. He is involved in several non-profit organizations. Dr. Jean M. Pierre is married to Martine N. Pierre (R.N.; MSN Nursing Education). They have three children attending college in Florida.
