Vocalis in EUROPE!
Florida Atlantic’s Vocalis treble ensemble has been invited to perform the European premiere of Michael McGlynn’s The Wind Among the Reeds with the Orchestre Symphonique Bel’Arte de Paris on June 11, 2025, under the direction of conductor Dr. Stacie Lee Rossow. In addition, Vocalis will have several concerts during their week-long residency in Paris. The ensemble will then travel to Dublin to perform the piano version of the Wind Among the Reeds in Mr. McGlynn’s home country at the LARK performance hall. While in Dublin, they will embark on several additional concert productions throughout Ireland. The entire two-week tour will showcase over forty Florida Atlantic students and faculty members in more than six concert events.
Students are actively fundraising to ensure all members of the choral group are able to participate in this lifechanging opportunity, however we need the support of the community and others to meet our $200,000 goal.
