BOYNTON BEACH, FL - The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has cited a company for exposing employees to fall hazards at two worksites in Boynton Beach, Florida. The contractor faces $49,930 in penalties.

NORTH MIAMI, FL - OSHA has cited two contractors in North Miami Beach for failing to protect employees from fall hazards at a construction worksite in North Miami, Florida. They face $44,146 in penalties. OSHA cited the employers for failing to ensure the use of a fall protection system to protect workers on an aerial lift, train employees to recognize and avoid fall hazards, and develop and implement an accident prevention program.

BOCA RATON, FL - OSHA has cited a roofing company based in Pompano Beach, Florida, for exposing employees to fall hazards at a worksite in Boca Raton, Florida. The roofing contractor faces $51,952 in penalties.

OSHA 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program

Earn your Department of Labor 10-hour OSHA card. Have all of your employees take this course to obtain knowledge and compliance information to meet OSHA standards on the jobsite. Receive the mandatory training in Introduction to OSHA, the focus four hazards which include fall protection, electrical, struck by, and caught in-between; health hazards in construction, personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifesaving equipment, hand and power tools, ladders and stairways, and other approved OSHA topics.

OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program Job-site Risk Assessment and Mitigation

This 30-hour in-class training program includes OSHA standards and compliance requirements. Following completion of this OSHA course, you will receive you Department of Labor OSHA 30-hour card. The program discusses risk exposures, hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention and include hazard communication, fire prevention, fall protection, and scaffold, electrical, excavation, crane, welding and cutting safety, personal protective equipment, and health hazards in construction and more.

OSHA training is a requirement for certain construction contracts in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Missouri, and Nevada and is relevant for construction jobsites throughout the United States.

Jobsite Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Learn how to assess risk on construction job sites to both promote safety, and prevent/minimize risk exposure, injury, death, and financial loss. Ensure a safe environment for workers, and create a safety manual based on a template, plus tool box talks to promote compliance with OSHA. This course is important for all construction contractors and their supervisors.
