Seth D. Yeslow, AIA, NCARB, joined the faculty in 2010. He serves as an Adjunct Professor for Professional Practice, as well as the School of Architecture’s Institute for Design & Construction, teaching seminars in preparation for the Architectural Registration Examination (A.R.E.). He teaches six of the seven courses including Construction Documents and Services, Building Design & Construction Systems, Programming, Planning & Practice, Site Planning & Design, Schematic Design and Structural Systems.
Born, raised and educated in South Florida he received a Master of Architecture from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami. A registered Architect and practicing professional in Florida, he is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), is a licensed Engineer Intern (E.I.), and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
He is currently an Architect at Steven L. Cohen & Associates. His professional work is tailored to the synergy between architecture and engineering and the constructability of these forms; which has resulted in award-winning projects on a wide range of building typologies including civic, mixed-use, hospitality, retail and multi-family residential areas projects in South Florida and around the world.
