Anslover is an Associate Professor of History and Director of  History Department Symposia Series.  Anslover specializes in 20th-century American History, researching the modern presidency, politics, and international relations. She is the author of The Transfer of Power Between Presidential Administrations: Trouble with the Transition, Harry S. Truman: The Coming of the Cold War, and the forthcoming Nixon in China, all with Routledge. Because of her expertise in the presidency, she was invited to appear on C-SPAN’s series “First Ladies: Image and Influence”.  Professor Anslover was featured in the episode on Bess Truman, which inspired her to begin working on projects involving the First Ladies and other American women in politics. Anslover teaches a variety of courses on American History since 1877.
