Careers in Global Studies

The B.A. in Global Studies will train students to think critically and across disciplines, and will hone their writing and research capabilities. This will make them ideal candidates for jobs requiring strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as leadership and teamwork abilities. It is a well-rounded liberal arts degree that will prepare students for a variety of careers in the international sphere like International Organizations; Foreign Affairs and Diplomacy; Research Institutes; Non-profit and Human Services; International Business; International development; National Security Council; Government and Foreign Service; United Nations; Relief Organizations; Environmental organizations; etc.

In addition, the Global Studies major will prepare students for a variety of graduate programs in the Humanities, the Social Sciences, and a variety of professional schools such as law, medicine, business, etc.
