Prof. Taryne Taylor's Studies in Global Genre Fiction Series Earns Nominations
Congratulations to Prof. Taryne Taylor on her recent publication!
The latest book in the series Dr. Taylor co-edits, Studies in Global Genre Fiction, is now available. The book is
Science Fiction Cinema in the Twenty-First Century by Pablo Gómez-Muñoz.
Another book in this series—Regina Kanyu Wang's The Making of Wandering Earth—was recently nominated for the British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) awards in the best of non-fiction category.
In addition, Prof. Taylor's essay, "Princess Nokia, 'Brujas' (2016) / Santería’s Decolonial Futurisms," appears in Uneven Futures: Strategies for Community Survival from Speculative Fiction, edited by Ida Yoshinaga, Sean Guynes and Gerry Canavan, which was also nominated for the awards.
