Prof. Stacey Balkan to Participate in Third After Oil School in Banff

Congratulations to Dr. Stacey Balkan! Recently, while attending the Petrocultures conference in Norway, she was invited to participate in the third After Oil School in Banff this October. 

Dr. Balkan is one of only 20 international petroscholars invited! 

The second After Oil School was held in Montreal in 2019 (involving 70 scholars and activists) and culminated in their collectively authored volume Solarities: Seeking Energy Justice . The third published volume will again be open access. Congratulations to Dr. Balkan on such well-deserved recognition!
