Fox's "When Madness Makes Sense in Early Black Women’s Drama" is chapter 5 in Afro-Caribbean Women's Writing and Early American Literature (Edited by Latoya Jefferson-James; Rowman & Littlefield) and "The Swiftness Black Women Know" is included in Part I of Trauma, Tresses, and Truth: Untangling Our Hair Through Personal Narratives (Edited by Lyzette Wanzer; Chicago Review Press).
