Kimberly Bain, Ph.D. student in FAU’s Comparative Studies Program and GTA in the Department of English, will present a paper—"Dismantling Controlling Images of Black Women through Hurston's Portrayal of Janie as an Emergent Woman"—on February 17th at 12:45pm as part of the 2022 Zora Neale Hurston Virtual Conference at Bethune-Cookman University.
