Prof. Becka McKay Publishes Poem in Witness

Congratulations to Professor Becka McKay on publication of a poem, "Lament for Bears Who Wander Downtown," in the Winter 2023 issue of Witness (vol 26, no. 2).

An excerpt from "Lament for Bears Who Wander Downtown":

They show up in my dreams so often, gathered
in a wooded dark I stumble through, or

watching me behind glass walls (and, just once,
heading up a staircase as I traveled

down). At least my dream life knows enough to keep
