Ryan Dakin

Abstract: This paper examines the relationship between post-modern and post-post-modern fiction and the future as presented ideologically, eschatologically, and through the science fiction genre, and the further relationship between this and the development of culture, especially youth culture, in the protracted post-2008 crises of social mobility and widespread anomie.

Bio: Ryan Dakin is a student at Florida Atlantic University. He specializes in post-modern and genre fiction. This is his first major project. He has no other projects currently planned.
