CV Workshop

Julia Mason will lead a CV Workshop on Friday, November 1 at 2:30pm in CU 301. Participants will learn what distinguishes a resume from a CV, learn typical CV sections, and strategies for writing your CV for different audiences. The workshop will also cover letters of recommendation, focusing on who, how, and when to ask.

Thesis Formatting Workshop for Spring 2025 Grads

Spring 2025 MA grads are invited to a thesis formatting workshop. Please bring your thesis file/s and your questions! (Participants must have the latest version of MS Word for their OS installed on their laptop. Full versions of all Microsoft Office applications are available to FAU students at no charge. Career Workshop: Job Search, Resume, Cover Letter

This workshop will present job searches for careers outside of teaching/academia. Participants are encouraged to bring their CVs/resumes, drafts of cover letters, etc.

Careers Beyond Teaching Panel

The panel will include representatives from FAU's Career Center, as well as speakers from careers across the disciplines including public policy research, academic leadership, education technology, library science, publishing, content writing and marketing, project management, and securing government bids and contracts.
