Ashley George

Ashley George earned a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric in Spring 2017. She received departmental honors for completing the thesis program and college honors for her GPA. She was recently admitted to FAU's master's program where she is continuing to focus on American Literature. She also works in the university's writing center and will be a GTA in the fall. She believes these career opportunities and her admittance to the master's program were influenced by her experience in the English honors program. She was exposed to a variety of resources, skill sets, and like-minded individuals that prepared her to take further steps in establishing herself in the academic world. In the future, she hopes to pursue a PhD and continue helping and teaching others about writing and literature.
