The Patricia M. Courtenay Doctoral Fellowship - Fall 2024

The Comparative Studies Program, with the financial support of The Patricia M. Courtenay Doctoral Fellowship Endowment, is offering a conference registration grant for the 2024 – 2025 academic year. This award will be made to an outstanding PhD student to support his or her registration to present a paper at a professional conference. The award must be used during the academic year, August 2024 to July 1, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

By the date of application, the applicant must be a full time student with a minimum of 3.7 GPA 

Application Process

The applicant must submit the following items by October 15, 2024:

• Abstract of paper to be presented
• Acceptance letter from conference organizers
• Letter of support from professor or advisor
• Unofficial transcripts.

Notification and Terms of the Award

Awardee will be selected by the PhD Executive Committee and applicants will be notified by the end of the term.
