PhD Student Priscilla Renta Co-Edits Rhythm & Power: Performing Salsa in Puerto Rican and Latino Communities

PhD student Priscilla Renta’s co-edited issue of Centro Journal of Puerto Rican Studies, entitled Rhythm & Power: Performing Salsa in Puerto Rican and Latino Communities, was released this late August. Renta, alongside co-editors Derrick León Washington and Sydney Hutchinson put together a collection of multi-disciplinary approaches to the cultural influences of salsa in New York City and Puerto Rico.
