General Overview

  • A grade of “C” or better in each course is required for successful satisfaction of core and elective courses.
  • All students must demonstrate an intermediate level of language proficiency (equivalent of 4 semesters of language study) in a foreign language. Students may choose the option best suited to their needs.
  • 1 core course (3 units) + 4 elective courses (12 units) = 15 units
  • Courses from this list taken in completion of an academic major may satisfy up to 6 units of elective credit.

  • Once all requirements have been successfully met, students must fill out this form to be processed by the registrar.
