Thierry-Michel Kawczynski joined FAU in 2018 and teaches courses in architectural design. He has also been a professor of architecture at Broward College since 2005, teaching courses in architectural design, drawing, history and theory.
Mr. Kawczynski is a licensed professional as well as founder and principal architect of Architectology, a fully accredited, publicized and award-winning design firm having worked on a variety of successful projects. He has extensive civic and public policy experience, and has held various municipal positions, including the Architectural Review Board and Historic Preservation Board (Pompano Beach, FL) as well as the Planning & Zoning Board and the Unsafe Structures Board (Oakland Park, FL). He also served on the Board of Directors for the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the Amercian Institute of Architects (AIA).
Mr. Kawczynski is bilingual in French and English.
