Exam Credit
Florida Atlantic University recognizes the following programs for which undergraduate students may receive academic credit.
Acceptability of College credit from all following programs will be determined by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Advanced Placement (AP)
Please request scores be sent to FAU during the AP Exam registration process. Please ensure the full name of the student and date of birth match on both the FAU Application for Admission AND the AP Exam registration. AP scores are sent to colleges and universities in July each year. If you are a transfer student needing to have AP credit included in your admissions review and for course pre-requisite credit, please contact the College Board and have your scores sent directly to FAU. The Office of Admissions will not take AP credit from another college transcript. -
International Baccalaureate program (IB)
Students can request the Office of Admissions to download their IB scores by completing this online form. Please allow 5 business days for scores to be retrieved and incorporated into the FAU student record.

Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)
Students can request the Office of Admissions to download their AICE scores by completing this online form. Please allow 5 business days for scores to be retrieved and incorporated into the FAU student record.

Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)
DSST exams scores are ONLY sent by US Mail. Please ensure that the name of the student on the DSST test matches the name used to apply for admission to FAU. -
CAPE
The Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination exams scores should be sent by the school counselor to FAU via email to admissions@fau.edu. Please use the subject line: CAPE scores – STUDENT NAME, ZNUMBER -
College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Undergraduate students may earn credits from the CLEP examinations provided they have not received comparable college credit in the CLEP examination area. FAU will not accept CLEP scores from another institution. Only official scores from CollegeBoard will be accepted.
