Understanding the Jump Start Program
The Jump Start Program is provided to many incoming first-year students to prepare them for success during the traditional fall semester. Students begin this pathway in the summer term. If they complete the summer successfully, then they progress to the fall term as a full-time student.

What is Jump Start and why am I in this program?
Jump Start provides students the opportunity to connect with other first-year students and create a
unique support system by establishing relationships with Academic Advisors, professors, and
classmates. You will also have the opportunity to complete 6 Summer credits which will help you
progress toward your graduation requirements.

Can I move out of this program if I have new test scores or have improved my GPA?
