Orientation is a structured interactive session that provides new incoming transfer students with the tools, information and resources necessary for academic success at FAU. Major university policies and procedures, as well as support services are given in a short program offered both during the day and evening. As part of orientation, students have an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor to discuss coursework.
The mandatory orientation program is planned to introduce you to the Honors College community, faculty staff and students. Social and informative college activities are scheduled to help ease your transition into college life. There are fees for both the student and their parents/guests.
(The orientation segment of the program runs for one hour. Group advising immediately follows orientation.)
