Fees & Payments
Your student health fee is part of your semester tuition and provides a registered student access to student health services for the semester enrolled and supports services provided, regardless of your health insurance coverage status.
The Student Health fee helps defray the costs for routine visits for common illnesses and injuries, including, but not limited to respiratory and gastrointestinnal problems, strains and sprains, skin rashes, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Fee-for-services charges are assessed for office visits, medications, treatments and supplies, among other services. Physical exams are also available for a reduced fee
Before leaving the Student Health Services clinic, please check out at the front desk.
Any unpaid portion of your charges or charges not covered by the University sponsored insurance plan will be billed to you through your FAU student account. Payment may be made to the Cashier's Office by mail, online or by using the drop box in the Student Support Services Building (Bldg. 80) on the Boca campus.
Missed or cancelled appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our scheduler at (561) 297-2276. You must cancel your appointment by 5 PM the workday prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a fee being charged to your student account. A $10.00 fee will be charged for missed medical appointments and $20.00 for missed dental appointments or for any appointment scheduled for 40 minutes or more.
