Each FAU campus is unique when it comes to parking rules. Please see below on how to properly park on the following campuses.
FAU Dania Beach (SeaTech)
A valid FAU permit is required to park in lot.
Student parking is available in marked lots throughout the campus and open to student vehicles displaying a valid FAU parking permit. Faculty/staff lots are clearly marked and are not open to students at any time. Permits can be acquired online or at the Owl Card Center on the 2nd floor of the Student Union building, room 201, on the Davie Campus. Students at the Davie campus must adhere to BC parking rules. These rules may differ from FAU parking rules. Please refer to BC parking website at: http://www.broward.edu/stuserv/parking.jsp
FAU Fort Lauderdale (Downtown Campus)
Student parking is on the 7th floor of the garage and the up ramps leading to the 7th floor of the parking garage. Vehicles choosing to park in other locations in the garage are subject to the normal rules and regulations of the garage. Weekdays until 5 PM, the parking lot adjacent to the HE building is for faculty/staff vehicles only. After 5 PM weekdays, student vehicles displaying a valid FAU parking permit may use the yellow spaces in the lot. On weekends, students may park in any ground lot space other than those with reserve signs. The ground lot has an electronic gate that can be opened by swiping an Owl card. Permits can be acquired online or at the Owl Card Center, in the Student Union building, on the Davie Campus. When registering for a permit online you will need to obtain a temporary permit from the security office at the downtown campus. The city of Ft. Lauderdale does not honor the confirmation page that is printed at the end of permit registration.
FAU Harbor Branch (HBOI)
A valid FAU permit is required to park in lot. Visitors will need to park in the metered lot and pay the meter.
Students are allowed to park in any all permit lots. Faculty and Staff lots are designated by red lines. Visitors will need either need to park at the meters and pay or they may obtain a temporary permit.
FAU Treasure Coast
Students must park in appropriate spaces. You are not allowed to park in any assigned spaces.
