Peer Education Team (PET)

The Peer Education Team is a student organization that promotes health lifestyle choices for the FAU community. Team members, affectionately known as "PETs", are trained by Owls Care Health Promotion staff members and assist in planning, organizing, and hosting breezeway events, awareness days, wellness presentations, & much more!

Members of the Peer Education Team gain vital skills in public speaking & program development (which looks great on resumes for jobs, internships, and graduate school) while educating other students about wellness and having fun.

A Message From the Director...

Hello past and prospective PET Members!

I am thrilled to be your Director this year and cannot wait to start working with each and every one of you! I look forward to an amazing year filled with fun, creative and informative events! I am positive that becoming a part of our team will be one of the greatest decisions you will make as an Owl at FAU! We are always open to new ideas and we hope to see you share them at our next meeting!
