Join us for free lunch and discover strategies that you can use to improve your health! This dining experience includes interactive mini-workshops designed to support students in developing the knowledge and skills necessary for lifelong health and wellness. This is a partner program with “Balanced Lunches” sponsored by FAU’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Together, these programs offer students on-going opportunities to explore their health, acquire new tools for balanced living and interact with other students. See the schedule below for this year’s topics and locations. All workshops begin at 12:30 p.m.
For more information about this program, and to sign up for the next workshop, please contact our office.
Ever wish you could get one-on-one time with your professor? The Dine with Faculty Program offers students the opportunity to develop their intellectual and occupational wellness by strengthening an academic relationship with the faculty member of their choice at FAU.
Students can choose one faculty member to dine with while discussing professional goals, research, current events in the faculty member's field, and career aspirations. To sign up for this program, complete the application below and return in to our office. If selected, Owls Care Health Promotion will contact the faculty member, set up a meeting time, and provide both the student and the faculty member with one voucher each for an on-campus meal.
Come have lunch with FAU’s registered dietitian!
Do you ever wish you could sit down for a meal with a dietitian and get all your nutrition questions answered? Because of this, we offer students a free breakfast once a month. Check out our calendar for more details and the stop by our on-campus outreach tent for some A.M. nutrition.
