Dr. Cabral is the Director of Owls Care Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University. Raquel earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2010. Prior to working at FAU, she worked as a counselor in various settings including a residential treatment center, community health center, and several university counseling centers. Raquel enjoys providing health education to students, especially in areas associated with mental health. She is passionate about motivating people to make healthier choices that lead to more fulfilling lives. In her spare time Raquel enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and photography.

Dr. Weaver has both her Master's degree and Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Education. Her interests include creating safe spaces for young people to express their sexual selves, sexuality and technology, and the promotion of healthy sexuality on college campuses. Her diverse experience includes hosting a sex-talk radio program, and presenting at both local and national conferences on a variety of sexual health concerns. She loves to read, is a fierce film buff and a fervent soccer player.

Melissa Kondor is an experienced health educator who inspires others towards lives full of meaning, health and vitality. She earned a Master’s degree in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida in 2007 and then spent almost 7 years living and working in different places around the world. Melissa’s background includes serving as a health educator in the US Peace Corps, working as an international adolescent health consultant in Eastern Europe, and starting a non-profit called “The Girls Yoga Program” to promote girls’ development. Professionally, Melissa is most interested in designing research-based, experiential programs to promote health, well-being and behavior change. Melissa is excited to bring her passion for healthy living to the FAU community!

Cindy is a Graduate Student Worker for Owls Care Health Promotion. She works closely with the Owls Care Leaders in promoting a culture of caring for self, others, and the university community. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is currently in graduate school at Florida Atlantic University. Cindy serves in the Florida Army National Guard and is enrolled in the Army ROTC program on campus. She likes to spend time with her friends and family.

Sean is the Program Assistant for Owls Care Health Promotion. He attended the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh for his undergraduate career, where he studied psychology. Sean was very involved in organizations on campus, including Fraternity & Sorority Life, Residence Life, the campus a cappella group, Colleges Against Cancer, Alternative Spring break, and various campus committees and jobs. Sean hopes to further his education in Higher Education and work in Student Affairs. In his spare time, Sean enjoys writing, reading, and good food.
