Chris Hall Lynch is currently the Director of Parent & Family Programs at Florida Atlantic University. Chris received her Bachelor’s degree in German from Indiana State University. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master’s in Education in Student Affairs. In 2012, Chris graduated with her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.
Prior to coming to FAU, Chris was Coordinator of Student Activities at Lindsey Wilson College for three years before going to St. Catharine College where she was the Director of Housing, Residence Life and Student Activities. After two years at St. Catharine, Chris moved to South Florida where she worked as a Drug and Violence Prevention Specialist at Archways, a non-profit agency. Chris has been at Florida Atlantic University since 2005. During this time, she has served as Director of New Student and Owl Family Programs and Health and Wellness Education. Her memberships have included the National Orientation Directors Association where she participated in the Orientation Professionals Institute (OPI), the Association for Higher Education Parent Program Professionals, NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) where she attended the Mid-Managers Institute and the American College Health Association.
Chris also serves as a voting member of the Health Sciences Institutional Review Board at Florida Atlantic University. She has also served as a peer reviewer for the AHEPPP Journal. Chris has served on several committees at FAU and committed to student success.
