BOCA RATON, FL (August 1, 2011) – As part of its year-long 50th anniversary celebration, Florida Atlantic University will host “50 on the 50,” a gala event to be held this fall, with proceeds benefitting student scholarships. “I would like to express my sincere thanks to our ‘50 on the 50’ President’s Level sponsors, the Schmidt Family Foundation, the E.M. Lynn Foundation, Wells Fargo and Chartwells, for theirsupport of ouranniversary celebration,” said FAU President Mary Jane Saunders. “We truly appreciate the time, energy and resources they have so graciously donated to ensure that our gala is a success.”
