Tickets on Sale for FAU’s Six-Day Kultur Festival

Klezmer Company Orchestra’s ‘JudeoJazzistico’ Concert is Main Event

WHAT:            “Kultur Festival 2010,” the second annual
                          celebration of Jewish music and arts sponsored
                          by Florida Atlantic University Libraries

             March 6 through March 11, 2010

COST:
              Individual ticket prices range from $5 for
                          the keynote address to $42 for premiere seats
                          to the main event concert. Discounted festival
                          passes are $110 and include entrance to all events
                          and a premiere seat for the concert.

“Kultur Festival 2010” includes six days of concerts, presentations, lectures, dance, film and book arts. The festival showcases FAU Libraries’ special collections through guest artists, distinguished scholars and critically-acclaimed musicians, including Klezmer Company Orchestra (KCO), the library’s professional ensemble-in-residence. Conductor and festival director Aaron Kula and KCO will perform the festival’s main event, “JudeoJazzistico,” in concert for the first time with the KlezKatz vocal ensemble. A limited number of discounted festival passes are available and must be purchased by phone or in person at the FAU Box Office.
