FAU’s New Board of Trustees Appointments
Jeffrey Feingold, Robert Rubin Join Board; Stilley Named Vice Chair
BOCA RATON, FL (March 29, 2010) – The Florida Board of Governors has appointed Dr. Jeffrey P. Feingold and Robert S. Rubin to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees. At the most recent board meeting, FAU’s Board of Trustees also named current Board member Robert Stilley as vice chair.
Stilley has been a member of the Board since February 2006 and will serve as vice chair until January 2011. He is the president and chief executive officer of HeartCare Imaging, Inc., bringing more than 20 years experience in the diagnostic imaging and cardiology industries to HCI. Stilley is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Technology. He also is a past president of the Martin County Council of 100. Stilley received his degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
Feingold, of Delray Beach, is the founder, president and chief executive officer of MCNA Dental Plans, a Florida-based Dental Managed Care Organization established in 1995. MCNA Dental is one of the country’s leaders in the delivery and administration of children’s dental health through state dental Medicaid (Title XIX) and CHIP (Title XXI Florida Healthy Kids Corporation) programs. MCNA also provides dental benefits for Medicare and commercial plans. He is also the founder, president and chief executive officer of The Dentaland Organization since 1979, which owns and operates seven comprehensive dental healthcare facilities from Aventura to Melbourne.

Feingold is an active member of community and civic organizations. He serves on the national board of directors of the Republican Jewish Coalition and is the Florida chair. Feingold also serves as the chairman of the Jewish Leadership Council of the Republican Party of Florida. Previously, he sat on the NYU Dental School Dean’s advisory board, the NYU Stern School of Business steering committee, as well as served as vice chairman of Columbia University parents’ council and the executive board of Tulane University Associates. Feingold is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is a published author. Feingold received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University Dental School, a certification in periodontology and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree in periodontology from Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University.
Bob Rubin is president of Rubin Wealth Advisors. He has counseled high net worth families and their advisors in wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution since 1985. A specialist in the design and implementation of advanced investment and insurance strategies involving estate, charitable and business succession planning, Rubin also serves as a national financial industry speaker and media spokesperson. He is currently the Impact chairman for the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, a federal tax policy group based in Washington, D.C. Before forming Rubin Wealth Advisors, he was senior vice president of Wachovia Wealth Management and also served as the estate planning specialist for Calibre, Wachovia’s Family Office. Previously, Rubin was an estate planning and business insurance specialist with Solomon Smith Barney and a regional manager with Principal Financial Group.

Rubin holds the designations of chartered life underwriter and chartered financial consultant from the American College. He is a FINRA registered principal and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Rubin’s community involvement includes the Leadership Broward XII alumni and FAU’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, as well as board positions with the Florida Atlantic University Foundation and the Autism Project of Palm Beach. Rubin is active in the special needs community, raising money to help cure Autism.
The 13-member Board of Trustees are responsible for cost-effective policy decisions appropriate to the university’s mission, the implementation and maintenance of high-quality education programs, the measurement of performance, the reporting of information, and the provision of input regarding state policy, budgeting and education standards.
