Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an internationally accepted standard for academic English proficiency, required by most U.S. and other English speaking universities. Utilized to evaluate a potential student’s ability to use English as it is spoken, written, and heard in an academic environment, the TOEFL is a required certification by more than 5000 universities and colleges worldwide. The TOEFL plays a key role in admissions decisions for international applicants.

Widely accepted as a reliable assessment of one’s ability to interact in an English-speaking environment, the TOEFL is also a valuable tool for those who wish to apply for professional certification or licensure to gain marketability in an English-speaking job market.
