Florida Atlantic University's College of Business hosts the Fall 2013 Executive Forum Lecture Series, sponsored by Bank of America. Beginning August 30, executives and entrepreneurs from a wide variety of businesses and industries will share their wealth of knowledge, professional experiences and lead a discussion on key issues facing their industries. The featured executive on Thursday, December 5, 2013 is George Stamas, MBA, former vice president for UBS.

Entrepreneur Boot Camp is a fast-paced certificate course empowering promising entrepreneurs and ambitious small business owners with the tools to write a successful business plan, find financial support and design the right operation for success! From discovering the most effective research tools available to the fundamental concepts for creating an impactful marketing campaign, Entrepreneur Boot Camp covers the essential components to a successful business plan.

Volunteers Needed for Business Leader of the Year Event
The FAU Business Leader of the Year has celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments of Florida leaders since 1991. Selected for his excellence in leadership, innovation, and social responsibility, this year's honoree is Jordan Zimmerman, founder and chairman of Zimmerman Advertising, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Held at the Boca Raton Resort on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., this event provides FAU Faculty and Staff a wonderful opportunity to represent this great University in an opulent setting among the business elite.
Event volunteers are needed on Feb. 28th from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the following roles:
- Event Greeter
- Check-In Host/Hostess
- Seating Usher
A mandatory volunteer training session will be held Thursday, February 13 at 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., light lunch will be served. To volunteer, email Maggie Kelly at email@example.com.
Global Entrepreneurship Week - Registration Open!
Florida Atlantic University's Adams Center for Entrepreneurship, within the College of Business, will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week November 18-24, 2013.
