Our Services

The services offered by the Dean of Students Office are as follows, but are not limited to:

Deceased Student Protocol:   Our office is responsible for managing the University's response to a deceased student. For more information, please click here

Exceptional Circumstances / Medical Withdrawals Advising:   We assist students who find it necessary to withdraw from the University (all classes) after the Official Drop/Add Period for specific exceptional circumstances and/or medical reasons. For more information, please click here

Student Handbook:  The  Dean of Students is responsible for managing the Student Handbook website and distributing the Student Handbook to students.

Student Advocate:  Our office is a strong advocate for students who are experiencing various situations at the University.

Committees: The Dean of Students Office oversees three standing committees:

  • Medical Advisory Committee
  • Student Crisis Awareness Committee
  • Leadership Committee

Reference / Discipline Clearance: We provide reference letters and discipline clearance when students transfer to other schools, military or government assignments.
