Fit trends are 75-minute interactive workshops which allow participants to demo and learn specialized and trendy fitness formats. Fit trends are available to all FAU students and Recreation & Fitness Center members. Sign up like a group fitness class one hour before to reserve your spot- space is limited.

Fitness offers two one hour presentations, Fitness 101: Nutrition and Training for Weight Loss and Training Truths. These presentations are for classes and groups on the Boca Raton campus. Group fitness and cycle instructors may be requested by any campus organization for a $40 fee. This fee covers the cost of an instructor and the spaced used. Class format, length and maximum number of participants varies and may be tailored to specific group fitness request. Instructors and facility space is limited due to availability. Have you ever wanted to ask a personal trainer a quick question? Want to know your current body fat percentage or want some advice on a new workout program? Then stop by the personal training suite located in the fitness center for free personalized measurements, advice and assessment. Personal Trainers will provide drop in hours Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 6:00pm - 7:00pm and Tuesday, Friday 8:00am - 9:00am during the spring semester for students and members to get advice on basic training techniques and program design. In addition, patrons can explore a variety of free assessments including: height/weight, body mass index, age predicated max heart rate, body fat percentage and flexibility testing.
