Step 1: Submit Application and Fees
Complete the application for admission online and pay the non-refundable $30 application fee in U.S. Dollars.

Step 2: Submit Required Academic Credentials
The academic credentials required will vary based upon your entry level.
Step 3: SAT or ACT Scores
SAT and ACT test scores are required for all freshman applicants as well as for all students with less than 60 credits from an accredited post-secondary institution.

ACT Test Information can be found at http://www.actstudent.org . (FAU school code: 0729). The ACT Residual test is offered at FAU’s Testing Center. For more information, go to http://www.fau.edu/testing/ACT.php.
Step 4: Submit English Proficiency Tests
Students whose first language is not English must submit TOEFL scores. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test (TOEFL PBT), or 80 on the internet-based version (TOEFL iBT) is required for admission. FAU also accepts IELTS test results with a minimum score of 6.5.

Step 5: Immigration/Visa Requirements
International applicants must submit immigration related documentation to the International Students and Scholar Services Office. For a list of the documents and additional details, please visit www.fau.edu/isss.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR international students
Scholarships are available for Spring and Fall terms only. There are a limited number of scholarships available including the Depan International Student Scholarship for freshmen and transfer students, the International Scholarship for Non-Resident students, and the Latin America & Caribbean Scholarship Program.
