Chris Hall Lynch

Chris Hall Lynch is currently the Director of Health and Wellness Education at Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Lynch received her Bachelor’s degree in German from Indiana State University. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master’s in Education in Student Affairs, and recently received an advanced degree from Florida Atlantic University as an Education Specialist.
While in Kentucky, Ms. Lynch was the Coordinator of Student Activities at Lindsey Wilson College for three years before going to St. Catharine College where she was the Director of Housing, Residence Life and Student Activities. After two years at St. Catharine, Ms. Lynch moved to South Florida where she worked as a Drug and Violence Prevention Specialist at Archways, a non-profit agency. Ms. Lynch served as Director of New Student and Owl Family Programs at FAU for six and a half years. Her memberships include the National Orientation Directors Association where she participated in the Orientation Professionals Institute (OPI) and the Association for Higher Education Parent Program Professionals and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) where she will participate in the Mid-Managers Institute.
Scott Lawler

Scott, who graduated from Virginia Tech with a Master's in Health Promotion, brings a diverse background in health and wellness to the University which includes alcohol/substance abuse prevention and harm reduction, weight management, and nutrition counseling. Professionally, Scott's main passion lies in encouraging others to consider how choices can influence health behaviors. Scott is also a certified personal trainer & group fitness instructor, and in his free time enjoys extreme ocean sports.
Courtney Weaver

Courtney has both her Master's degree and Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Education. Her interests include creating safe spaces for young people to express their sexual selves, sexuality and technology, and the promotion of healthy sexuality on college campuses. Her diverse experience includes hosting a sex-talk radio program, and presenting at both local and national conferences on a variety of sexual health concerns. She loves to read, is a fierce film buff and a fervent soccer player.
Raquel Cabral

Raquel earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2010. Prior to working as a Wellness Specialist at FAU, she worked as a counselor in various settings including a residential treatment center, community health center, and several university counseling centers. Raquel enjoys providing health education to students, especially in areas associated with mental health. She is passionate about motivating people to make healthier choices that lead to more fulfilling lives. In her spare time Raquel enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and photography.
Jasmine Alexis

Jasmine Alexis is a recent graduate from the University of Florida. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education and Behavior and a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. Her main responsibilities in the office are to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties, assist in event planning implementation and development, and assist with the creation of flyers, banners, and bulletin boards. Her dream is to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Community Health and/or Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with love ones.
Anna Benbrook

Anna Benbrook is the Health Promotion Coordinator of the Broward Student Wellness Center. Her main responsibilities include planning health promotion events, designing marketing materials for the programs, and educating students on proper healthy choices. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health Education from the University of Florida and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Anna's main passion is to educate students about HIV prevention and sexual health. In her free time she enjoys practicing photography, traveling, playing sports, and dabbling in Adobe Photoshop.

Devin has served as a Coordinator in Student Affairs at FAU’s Jupiter Campus since January 2012. She currently oversees Campus Recreation, Health and Wellness Education. Devin earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Leisure, Youth and Human Services with a focus in programming and youth development. She obtained her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership: Higher Education from FAU. Some of Devin’s interests include running, reading and thrifting.
