MURP Student Research Fellows
Each year SURP awards research fellowships to the most qualified students in the Master of Urban & Regional Planning program. The fellows are each assigned to a designated research project or ongoing work under the direct guidance of a SURP faculty member. Past fellows have had the opportunity to assist in ground-breaking research on post-disaster recovery planning, urban adaptation to sea-level rise, regional economic development, hyper-local community empowerment, urban and regional mobility, place-making, and more.
MURP Research Fellows receive a full tuition waver and a stipend in accordance with the number of hours per week they are assigned to their work.
The 2013-2014 MURP Research Fellows are:
- Chelsey Byrnes
- Anne-Christine Carrie
- Nicole Galehouse
- Kerrie McNeil
- Abigail Weiss
