Whether you are an FAU student organization, department, or external guest looking for a great meeting and conference space, FAU Student Union has the facilities to meet your spacing needs. No event is too big or small.

External Guest Reservations

Our Student Union has a variety of styles and sizes of rooms to choose from.

All of the rooms are carpeted and unique to the type of event you need to accomodate. The various sized rooms allow for a conference as small as twelve people to a lecture as large as five hundred people, including an auditorium that seats twenty four hundred people.

Department Planning

As a fellow FAU Department, the Student Union offers discounted room reservations for your event planning needs. Whether your event is large or small, we are able to accommodate your needs. We host a large number of department events every year from signature lectures, to small conferences, and large cultural events. To get started simply click on Forms on the side bar to the left to fill out an Event Request Form.

Student Planning

The Student Union is home to a wide selection of rooms and services that are available for students and student organization events and club meetings.

Should you need assistance within the event planning process please contact the Student Union Event Planning office, at 561-297-3730 or come to the Student Union room 203. Our talented and dedicated staff is here to help you answer any questions that you may have about events from the concept to the implementation. We are here to help!

Students are encouraged to utilize the space in the Student Union. It is our goal to be your number one choice for hosting events! If there is anything we can do to assist you, we encourage you to let us know, be it purchasing new equipment or improving our customer service. We want to hear from you.

Rooms and Resources

Rooms are free of charge to registered student organizations unless they are:

  • Having co-sponsorship event/program with a department, tax-exempt group or commercial group.
  • Charging a registration or admittance fee or selling tickets (this may also apply to donations).
  • Sponsoring a program that is open to the general public (non-students).

All registered student organizations need to submit a Program Registration Form through Owl Central for their events held on or off campus.
This form must be:

  • Approved by your advisor.
  • Received no less than 10 business days prior to your event or meeting.
  • Be as detailed as possible: include the equipment you will need, how many people you expect at your event, etc.
