  2. Seven $1,000 scholarships to students graduating from FAU and who seek to enroll at FAU full time in masters and doctoral programs. Applications are included on-line. Selection is made by the Chapter Scholarship/Fellowship Committee, with presentation of awards at the initiation ceremony.

  3. Freshman Reading Program
Five $100 awards to first-year students who demonstrate academic excellence by participating in the discussions of the chosen Freshman Reading Program book, complete the Summer Reading Program, and submit a short reflective essay on their academic aspirations at Florida Atlantic University.

National Fellowship

The Chapter nominates one student member for the national fellowship competition each year. These highly competitive awards provide up to $5,000 for first-year graduate or professional study. Minimum qualifications include completion of 90 semester-hours of course work and an overall grade point average of 3.8 or above. Information and application forms are available at the National Headquarters website. The FAU nominee is selected by the Chapter Scholarship/Fellowship Committee.

Faculty/Staff/Alumni Awards

The members of Chapter 128 present up to two awards to faculty/staff/alumni:

  1. The “Phi Kappa Phi Artist Award”

  2. The “Phi Kappa Phi Scholar/Researcher Award”
