International Friends Program: “Bridging Cultures through Friendship”

The International Friends Program (IFP) promotes friendship and cultural exchange by matching international students with members of the FAU campus community. For more information and to read some commonly asked questions about the IFP, please visit our information sheet. Interested students and FAU community campus community members who would like to join the program can email Dr. Mihaela Metianu mmetianu@fau.edu to receive an application form.

International Peer Mentor Program

The International Peer Mentor Program (IPM) matches current FAU students with new, incoming international students in order to help them adjust to life at FAU more easily. The mentors serve as important resources for new international students who have many questions and concerns during their transition to FAU. The 2010-11 academic year was the inaugural year for this program, which is funded by Student Government.

Interested students and FAU community campus community members who would like to join the program can email Sabrina Spanier sspanier@fau.edu  to receive an application form.

Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to learn about other cultures, help your peers, develop new friendships and expand upon your leadership skills!
