Associate Dean's Office Staff
David received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Elon University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University. He began his career in Student Affairs in 2001 at the University of Florida as the Assistant Director for Greek Life. From there, David moved on to become an Assistant Dean of Students for Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of Virginia where, in addition to advising the Fraternity & Sorority community, his responsibilities included serving on the on-call crisis management team, serving on the University diversity committee, and overseeing the Students Educating and Empowering For Diversity (S.E.E.D.) Program. David has served as the Assistant Director for the Southern Region of National Panhellenic Council (NPHC), Inc. and has been involved with the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA), American College Personnel Association (ACPA), and National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). He is also a graduate of the Social Justice Training Institute (SJTI) and has participated as a facilitator with LeaderShape.
