JUPITER STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES
How to Make an Appointment
Students are encouraged to call (561) 799-8678, Monday through Friday, to make an appointment or stop by the Jupiter campus Student Health Services office to inquire about the many health services available on campus. Appointments can also be made online at MyHealth.fau.edu.
The Student Health fee, part of each student's tuition, helps defray the costs for routine visits for common illnesses and injuries, including, but not limited to respiratory and gastrointestinal problems, strains and sprains, skin rashes, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Fee-for-services charges are assessed for office visits, medications, treatments and supplies, among other services. Physical exams are also available for a reduce fee.
A student requiring special attention may be referred to a specialist for further treatment by the attending health professional. Specialty physician care (obstetrics, surgery, orthopedics, etc.) is not covered by the FAU Health Fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Student Health Services does not provide excuses for missed classes. Appointments must be canceled by 5 p.m. the business day prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid being charged a $10 fee for medical clinic appointments or $20 for dental appointments or medical appointments scheduled for 40 minutes or more. Prices may change without notice. It is a good idea to confirm prices at the time of appointment. Fee Schedules do not reflect all health services that carry a charge.
