Welcome To Jupiter Student Health Services!
Jupiter Student Health Services is located in the SR Building, Room 106, on the Jupiter campus. Medical office visits for illnesses, injuries, women's health (including Plan B and pregnancy testing and counseling), laboratory testing and preventative care are available to registered students. Jupiter Student Health Services does not give allergy/immunotherapy injections.
The Student Health fee, part of each student's tuition, helps defray the costs for routine visits for common illnesses and injuries, including, but not limited to respiratory and gastrointestinnal problems, strains and sprains, skin rashes, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Fee-for-services charges are assessed for office visits, medications, treatments and supplies, among other services. Physical exams are also available for a reduced fee.
Student Health Services works closely with FAU Counseling & Psychological Services and other campus departments to improve the health and wellbeing of our Jupiter students. Students are encouraged to call (561) 799-8678, Monday through Friday, to make an appointment or stop by the Jupiter Student Health Services office to inquire about the many health offerings available on campus.
A student requiring special attention may be referred to a specialist for further treatment by the attending health professional. Specialty physician care (obstetrics, surgery, orthopedics, etc.) is not covered by the FAU Health fee.
If healthcare services are needed outside FAU Student Health Services Clinic hours, please contact one of the following facilities:
Collegiate Assistance Program (24-hr Nurse Triage)
All students have access to nurse advice and health information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 866-281-9725. The Collegiate Assistance Program is staffed by Registered Nurses who can help students determine if they need to seek medical care, understand their medications or medical procedures, or learn ways to stay healthy.
In Case of Emergency
Emergency services, those required for life-threatening conditions, are not provided by Student Health Services.
For a medical emergency on the Jupiter campus, please call Campus Police 24 hours a day at 911 or 561-799-8700 or 561-339-0015 (duty officer's cell phone).
Please Note: Costs of all services provided outside the health center are the student's responsibility and are NOT covered by the health fee. Prices may change without notice. It is a good idea to confirm prices at the time of appointment. Fee Schedules do not reflect all health services that carry a charge.
