An HIV/AIDS Counselor is available to all members of the University community to counsel with regard to all aspects of HIV/AIDS. Contact (561) 297-1120 for more information.

Students may choose from several testing options:

*Free, rapid HIV testing two to three Thursdays of each month (excluding holidays). Testing is conducted by Care Resource and offered in Today & Beyond Wellness (Bldg. SS8, Room 222 - above the Breezeway Food Court). This HIV test requires the collection of an oral fluid specimen. Results are provided in approximately 30 minutes and the test is FREE. Testing is done on a first come, first served basis and is offered to FAU students, faculty, staff, and community members.

*OraQuick Rapid HIV test? This HIV test is performed using an oral swab or fingerstick. Results are available in approximately 30 minutes. This test is offered by appointment only to FAU students.  The cost is $32.80.

*Blood test?  This HIV test requires the collection of a blood specimen. Students may choose to receive results in approximately 10 days at NO CHARGE or receive results in less than one week at the cost of $25.30. This test is offered by appointment only to FAU students.
