SPC4271 Capstone in Communication and Civic Life

Pre-requisites and requirements that should be successfully completed (or be currently registered for) before requesting approval for SPC 4271 (Capstone in Communication and Civic Life):
*Student must currently have earned 90 credits or more towards their coursework for BA degree in Communication Studies
*SPC 1340 (Discovering Human Communication and Rhetoric) or COM 2053 (Intro to Communication and Civic Life)
*A minimum of 9 credits in Theory and/or Methods
*Preference will be given to students who have completed: All other major coursework, FAU general education requirements & Foreign language graduation requirement

VIC4943 Multimedia Practicum (Multimedia Journalism Majors)

Pre-requisites and requirements that should be successfully completed (or be currently registered for) before requesting approval for VIC 4943 (Multimedia Practicum for MMSJ majors):
*Student must currently have earned 90 credits or more towards their coursework for BA degree in Multimedia Studies
*Preference will be given to students who have completed: MMC 1540 (Intro to Media Studies), JOU 4004 (U.S. Journalism), JOU 3101 (News and News Reporting), MMC 3403 (Mass Communication Theory), MMC 4640 (Public Opinion & Modernity), JOU 4181 (Coverage of Public Affairs), RTV 4301 (Broadcast Journalism), JOU 4342 (Multimedia Journalism), FAU general education requirements & Foreign language graduation requirement

VIC4943 Multimedia Practicum (Film, Video and New Media Majors)

Pre-requisites and requirements that should be successfully completed (or be currently registered for) before requesting approval for VIC 4943 (Multimedia Practicum for MMSF majors):
 
* Student must currently have earned 90 credits or more towards their coursework for BA degree in Multimedia Studies 
* At least one of the following Production Fundamental courses: DIG 3110C (Fundamentals of Multimedia), DIG 3305 (Fundamentals of 3D Computer Animation) & RTV 3260 (Video Production) 
* Preference will be given to students who have completed: All other major coursework (Core, Production Fundamentals, History, Criticism, Production & Contexts), FAU general education requirements, & Foreign language graduation requirement
