FAU Alert System Test
All Campuses

All aspects of the FAU Alert System will be tested.  The outdoor warning sirens will be activated on the Boca Raton, Jupiter, and Harbor Branch campuses.  During this test, a loud siren sound (click here to play the sound) and a spoken message will be heard across those campuses, as well as in neighborhoods and business areas located near those campuses. University-wide e-mail, text-messaging, telephone alert, web alert and emergency hotlines will also be tested.  For more information, contact Sharlene Sookhoo at


First Aid/ CPR/AED Training
9:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m.
Boca Raton - Campus Operations 118

First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training is provided by EH&S.  This course certifies a person in First Aid, CPR and AED and takes approximately six hours to complete.  This training requires hands-on student participation.  Note: There is a charge of $26.85 per student to cover the cost of course materials, and there is a limit of 12 students per course.  For more information contact David Muncher at .
